I was the sole designer on UK Carp from 2014-2016. Although the lowest seller, it was the magazine with the most creative freedom. I had an Art Director to answer to for all the mags I worked on, however he was incredible lenient when it came to UK Carp, always happy for me to push the boundaries, get creative and trial risky ideas.

Improve Your Coarse Fishing magazine is a technical read, full of tips and tactics, aimed at any angler eager to enhance their fishing game. Designing on this mag was a lot of fun, however it did require a level of knowledge in coarse fishing that I didn't possess at the time, I asked a lot of questions when it came to diagrams and techniques, my lack of experience in coarse fishing was outweighed by my determination to hit deadlines and my adaptive design skills.
