Unlike my Vietnamese watercolour, this has been designed from a photograph I took on my travels around the south island of New Zealand. I imagine Queenstown is one of the best places on the planet to practice scenery art, everywhere you look is an opportunity to do a print.

QUEENSTOWN

'You and Me' is a song that myself and my girlfriend labeled 'our song' so I thought it would make for a good valentines present.

This page consists of a variety of mix media illustration, from oil paints, watercolours, Posca pens and vectoring.
Some commissioned, some free and some for me.

CONOR MCGREGOR

I immediately started working on this piece as soon as I saw it.
The perspective, the coat, the lights, I couldn't resist.

This is an oil painting of George Harrison.
After watching 'portrait artist of the year' on Sky Arts I got inspired to get the brushes out.

NOEL GALLAGHER

This piece was inspired by watching the documentary 'Supersonic'. I've been a huge fan of Oasis and the Gallagher brothers for as long as I can remember. I randomly took screen shots throughout the film, as soon as I saw this shot I felt like it summed up Noel Gallagher to a T.

Similar in style and strategy to the Noel Gallagher piece, I took screen shots while watching
Arctic Monkeys perform at the iTunes festival.

ALEX TURNER

To celebrate booking my trip to Vietnam I dusted off the watercolours and gave the Phuoc Duyen Tower a go. I have full intentions of sitting down with a pad and some paints, giving it my best efforts to paint what I see with my own eyes.
